What Type of Bag for High School?

ok well i am going to be a freshman this coming september. and i am not sure what type of bag to get. my options are – vera bradley “vera” tote, a normal tote from like pacsun or something, or a backpack from pacsun.

i am somewhat worried about getting a normal tote because of the size. i will probably need to carry alot of books home. and the vera bradley and backpack are pretty big. but the regular tote is not. so what do you think?? have any suggestions?

there is also a bag i found in store at pacsun– its bigger than the oneil one. its blue and it is hurley

As a freshman in high school, the biggest item length and width wise would probably be a binder (assuming you’re going to use one). So measure your binder and maybe add a few inches to the dimensions assuring you’ll have enough room. Many schools nowadays don’t use lockers, so you probably will carry all your books around. Check with your school also as they might use a system like my high school where each student gets a set of books to keep at home while they use a class set at school — that way you don’t have to carry books back and forth. The O’Neill bag looks a little small for books and junk, but the two other bags look perfect
